Day 1. Nothing like a sundae to start off the new year. I am not one to diet except if eating everything in sight is considered a diet so of course I had to start the year off with a brownie sundae. Yum. Day 3. This picture was actually taken back in 2006 (I think). We were on a Caribbean cruise for our birthday. Little did I know that DH would propose a few days later. Day 5. We ventured out the city on Saturday afternoon for a boozy brunch. We went to Fat Buddha and I have the say I wasn't expecting to food to be soo good. I have been there before at night for drinks so had no idea that they did food. Everything was great and I am looking forward to going back. Day 7. I am not big on nail polish and makeup but I am very proud to say that I have not bitten my nails in over two weeks. Lets see how long it lasts. Maybe this will be the year where I actually keep up with weekly manis (who has the time) | Day 2. I love shoes and I especially love these red suede shoes from Sergio Rossi. I am definitely putting them to good use this winter. Day 4. Dusting off my crochet needles and starting the new year with a new project. This was a request by a friend of DH's. It will eventually be Hobbes from Calvin & Hobbes. Pattern is available for free here. Day 6. After doing my time in the gym I settled in for an afternoon of reading. Perfect way to spend my Sunday. I have to say though this book is not on my all time fave. I am reading it for book club and am having a hard time getting into it. BTW check out my Daniel Green slippers that I won from Bed Knobs & Baubles. They are super comfy. |
