On Saturday DH and I did the Ride to Montauk. Although I had a great time the ride itself nearly almost killed me. I definitely need to train more for the next one.
My morning started at 5:45am. Most people would cringe at the idea of getting up so early on a Saturday morning but I was waaaayy to excited so I didn't care. Once we made it to Montauk (and after my near death experience) we showered and stuffed our face with burgers and beer. Nothing makes me happier. | One of the best perks of this ride was the food. They had fresh baked pie at one of the rest stops. It was amazing. I think I ate a little bit too much. Somebody went a bit crazy with the free beer. I think he was a bit overwhelmed at one point. |
First stop was Necessary Clothing. I love this place. I especially love their clearance rack down on the lower level. Stay tuned later this week to find out how many pieces I picked up on Sunday for under $100. After shopping we went to brunch to one of my parents' fave spots. My mom threatened me not to share the place or location but if you follow me on Instagram or squint really hard at this picture you can figure it out. HINT: It's in my hood and it is amazing. | After the bike tour DH joined us for brunch and tried his first Michelada. It was really good. He didn't care for it much. |
