(1) Shopping my closet. I have been keeping track of this via instagram. Here is a recap of this weeks outfits.
Every year I give up something for lent. In previous years I have given up everything from facebook to wine. This year I thought it would be a brilliant idea to give up shopping. Now most people will say I am trying to do the impossible and they are probably right. I love to shop. But this is my chance to prove them wrong. So in order to help me get through this shopping fast I will be doing a few things. (1) Shopping my closet. I have been keeping track of this via instagram. Here is a recap of this weeks outfits. (2) Crafting. I hope to spend more time on my crochet, jewelry making and sewing within the next few weeks. Here is a sneak peek of some of the projects I am working on. Hopefully these two things will keep me occupied in this 40 plus day journey of no shopping.

Our next adventure will be to New Orleans, LA. I am extremely excited since I have never been. I am looking forward to exploring a new city but with every adventure comes the challenge of packing amazing outfits for a 5 day trip in a carry on luggage including shoes, makeup and of course my latest crochet project. In an effort to stay organized I have been pinning a few outfits on my "Packing for Nola" Board on Pinterest. Here are some of my favorites from some of my favorite bloggers including JsEverdayFashion, KendiEveryday, and WhatTheFrock. |
