Day 112: Not sure what he was doing? Most people think he was trying to hang himself. I'm not that bad am I? Day 114: Remember those photo booths that were in almost every arcade and movie theatre. Do they still exist? Day 116: The nachos at Yankee stadium are amazing. They are fully loaded with a lot of unhealthy stuff which makes them even better. Couldn't resist. Day 118: After a busy week of baseball games and shows it was great to spend my Sunday relaxing a bit. We took a nice ride around the neighborhood and then settled in with a book. Not a bad way to end my week. | Day 113: I was back at the gym in full force this week. Have I mentioned how amazing Pound workout is. If there is a crunch gym near you give it a try. It is the best. Day 115: The highlight of my week was the fact that I got to go to the yankee game two nights in a row. I loooveee baseball so was very excited about. Day 117: On Saturday we went to see Totem at Citi Field. It was sooo much fun. I definitely would recommend it. |
Can you believe that it is almost May. I cannot. Where has this year gone. I am officially now starting to get excited though. The weather has finally started to warm up which means there are lots of great things to look forward. I am counting down the days until I am at the beach.

Initially I was not fond of the lucite trend. Every time I see clear shoes I think of a stripper and it is not exactly the look I am going for. I fell in love with the Lanvin heels when I saw them though. Although the heel it lucite it is smoky so to me they don't scream stripper. Well at least I hope they don't. As for the dress it was another great find. I found it at the clearance rack at Necessary Clothing down in the village. Set me back a whole $10. I can live with that. How do you feel about the lucite trend? -Taima One of the items that I am adding to my wish list is a black cross body bag. Believe it or not I have yet to add one to my closet that I absolutely love. I really would like a Chanel one but don't have Chanel money. I did manage to find some options that all come under $100. Which one would you get? -Taima If I wasn't currently on a shopping diet I would go out and buy maxi skirts in every color I could find them. They are my new found obsession. I got this one for 6 bucks at NY & Co a few weeks back and I absolutely love it. I absolutely love the colors and print and am just dying to mix it up with a few other pieces in my closet. (Look out for a remix post). What trend are you obsessing over this spring? Getting dressed has been such a challenge lately. We are hovering between 40-60 which means most days it is too cool to really bring out the spring and summer pieces. I'm looking forward to when I can throw on a dress, a pair of heels and keep it moving. Until then I will be shopping my closet for bright pieces that will keep my spirits up. At least it is not snowing. I am thankful for that. I've had my fill for the year. I just need to get better at my purchases in general. I have decided to go on a shopping diet which means that I am going to really have to shop my closet. I recently purchased a pair of gingham print pants and I have to say there are not the easiest to style. When I was trying them on I had a million ideas of how to style them and pooof all those ideas are gone. Here are some ideas that I have managed to come up with. How would you style a pair of gingham print pants? -Taima When I first saw Amanda Seyfried in a lace Givenchy Gown at the Golden Globes I fell in love. I mean the dress is amazing. I love everything about it. I was on a quest to find a copy cat and was lucky enough to find one from Asos and on sale no less. Now I know I am a bit late in posting about this dress but honestly I was waiting patiently for a reason to wear it. I cannot wait to wear it again. I got a similar one in pink as well and will definitely be wearing it this spring/summer. Dress: Asos Here or Similar Here. Pink version here. A few weeks ago I bought a pair of Floral Pants from H & M similar to ones above and almost returned them. I had a moment where I just stared at them and wondered what I was thinking and how I would even be able to pull them off. Even though I have since worn them twice I am still bouncing around ideas. Here are my thoughts on how I would style them. How would you style Floral Pants? -Taima |
