A couple of weekends ago I went to Palisades Mall with the fam. While DH and company went rope climbing I checked out the new Uniqlo that just opened up. Let me start by saying that I have been a fan of Uniqlo since I stumbled upon it on a trip to Tokyo several years ago. I cannot even tell you how happy I am that they are now in the states. Here is what I picked up from Uniqlo. Of course everything was on sale. Light Pink Skinny Jeans 9.90 Retail Price 19.90 (50% savings) Gingham Print Skinny Leggings 9.90 Retail Price 14.90 (34% Savings). Basic V-Neck T-Shirts ( I got four total) 7.90 each. Printed Ankle Pants 9.95 Retail Price 24.95 (60% Savings). Printed Red Skinny Pants 7.50 Retail Price 24.95 (70% Savings). Because these were on clearance I could not find them online but here is a similar pair. Leopard Trench 15.00 Retail Price 59.99 (75% Savings) So my grand total for the day was $93.80. Can you believe it. I got 10 pieces for under $100. Average savings was 55% off. I saved over $100. Another successful shopping trip. Now I have to figure out how to fit this all in my insanely crowded closet. -Taima Today I am linking up with:

Continuing with my Jeans and T-Shirt challenge I decided to change things up with a green velvet blazer and nude peep toes. Even though it is Spring it is still very cold in the northeast so I am getting a little bit of extra mileage out of my winter pieces. I am soo excited about my nude peep toes. I tried these on a while back and could not find my size at any store. Can you believe I was willing to pay full price for these because I think they are the perfect "nude". During post Christmas sales I found these on sale on Bluefly and had to snatch them up. I ended up paying almost half price. That worked out pretty well for me. Though shall not pay retail of anything. Even thought it doesn't feel like it Spring is finally here. Unfortunately we are dealing with yet another snow storm so I guess I should just start looking forward to Summer. This week was all about food. For some reason all my Instagram was dominated by what I was cooking or eating. How did your week go?

I am officially over winter. I am ready for spring. I spent a few days in Tampa and even though it was cold for Tampa standards it gave me a great excuse to wear something other than massive layers of wool and down. It felt soo good to leave the house in a maxi and open toe shoes. I really miss living in Florida. :) I picked up this dress on sale from Asos and am really looking forward to wearing it all spring and well into the summer. The jacket if you recall is my tried and true jean jacket that I have had since high school. I love being a fashion hoarder. As we shiver our way through below freezing temps it is hard to not lust after all the pretty spring pieces in the windows of our favorite stores and the weather that goes with those pretty spring pieces. I am personally looking forward to the days when I don't have to spend a half an hour putting on my winter gear. Since we can't exactly fast forward out of this weather here are some ideas on how to style spring pieces for now and later. This top from Forever 21 will look great in the spring but it can be styled for now and the summer as well. For now pair it with a black suit and some fun pumps. The layers will keep you cozy and this is a great way to add a punch of color under an otherwise boring black suit. If you want a more casual look swap the black pants for jeans. Once spring rolls around we will all be extremely eager to bring out our lighter and brighter pieces. Pairing this top with a pair of white jeans and bright pumps will be a great way to celebrate longer and brighter days. For summer throw this on over a swimsuit and a pair of denim shorts and head to your closest shore. -TaimaToday I am linking up with:
As does every year with the holidays over stores are starting to bring out their Spring merchandise and I am seeing a lot of floral. Because I am always looking for a deal I decided to do a little online hunting and found some great pieces that can be bought now "on sale" and worn in the spring. Here is what I found.
